This game looks fantastic, much more colourful and sharp than the majority of other Playtech slots and as a result this slot is visually stunning when played on my phone or tablet. The sound is an improvement on the majority of other Playtech games too, and the animation is smoother than I’ve come to expect from them. The options and buttons are laid out sensibly with the Max Bet button helpfully located a decent distance away from the regular spin button. Find out more at ECWON Malaysia Online Casino!
The opening screen proudly proclaims you can win “Up to 20 free games with up to 10x multiplier”, which made me wonder if this might be another clone of the fantastic Great Blue, which would have been fun, if not exactly original or exciting. It turns out not to be the case though, the number of free spins and size of the multiplier are random on each entry into the bonus in this game and it is not possible to get a high number of free spins at the same time as a high multiplier… a little disappointing, although the way the bonus is represented on screen by choosing witches and potions is excellent and fits in with the theme of the game extremely well.
With no stacked wilds on the reels either it quickly becomes clear that Halloween Fortune is much lower variance than Marilyn Monroe, the 20 line version of Great Blue, and not quite as much fun to me as a result. It seems as if Playtech have trouble creating games that have both style and substance at the same time! Great Blue might have dodgy sound and feel a little bit cheap but I’d rather play that or its clones than this game which has much lower wins potential. It’s a real shame as this could have been a classic.
