Theme
Hearts are everywhere in this game. They form the background and they show up on the reels, and if you play enough they will show up in your dreams. The music and audio effects are quite disappointing, though I suppose you can keep them on for lack of anything better. The symbols are quite well done, and even offer some animations. There’s not much to say about the theme otherwise. Love is in the air, or at least hearts are.
Betting Options and Functions
The game comes with a somewhat unorthodox number of paylines. There are nine of these, and they follow the five reels from left to right. Betting is done by simply selecting how much you want to bet on each payline, which in turn translates into the total bet for each spin. Plenty of options from 0.01 to 30 coins per line.
The playing card ranks, which as usual form the lower end of payouts, pay for three to five symbols combinations. The themed symbols pay out even when just two are on the screen, and the wild diamond pays even when it’s all alone in there. The payouts at the lower level are nothing spectacular, as you will only get a return of one, two, or three times your line bet. With three symbols you can go all the way to 20 times your line bet, four symbols can net up to 100 times your line bet, and five symbols pays out the most with 500 times your set bet. Of course, if you manage to get five wilds on a line you can win up to 10 000 times your line bet, but this is a very rare occurrence.
The theme itself is okay, though the Chinese influence in it is a bit confusing, and never explained. This is not a bad game though as the variance seems to be quite ok. Definitely spin with free money first to see if you could enjoy the game.
